Invoicing

Overview

Invoicing covers billing customers and recording what they owe. With Community accounting features enabled, it also posts those invoices to the general ledger so balances and receivables stay accurate.

This manual documents invoicing and the accounting features available in Community Edition. It does not cover bank synchronization or automated bill capture, which are not part of Herring Bank’s deployment.

Not yet documented, pending source material. This section will be written from hands-on testing on our own Community installation, relevant OCA module documentation, and Herring’s own deployment notes. Planned coverage: creating a customer invoice, registering a payment, and reading the receivables balance.
